For more than a hundred years, county extension agents have worked within communities teaching the art and science of canning. Jacqueline Froelich --who has preserved blueberries, applesauce and okra pickles--takes us to the Washington County fair to meet extension agent Linda Chappell.The first phase of Fayetteville High School recently received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver accreditation. Nordex USA plans to pay $2.5 million back to the state after failing to meet employment expectations set when the company accepted state development money. And, today is the day of the special run-off election to fill a vacancy on the Springdale City Council.
